Mountain City Basketball
Club Information
Mountain City Hoops offers year-round club basketball for 1st Grade through High School-aged boys & girls. We have assembled an incredible coaching staff at Mountain City. Some that will be coaching are Dalton Nixon, Isaac Faldmo, Cale Thornton, and Aarun Rumbaugh among others. Our staff has years of experience both playing and coaching at a high level. We take pride in our coaches understanding of the game and ability to teach players of all ages how to play the game the right way.
Mountain City teams will be formed based on each player’s skill level. Our goal is to place every player in the best situation to succeed, allowing them opportunities to improve their skills and grow in the game.
Practices
Each team will practice twice a week, either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. All practices will be 1.5 hours long, and will include skill development training, team drills centered on offensive and defensive concepts, and other competition through scrimmaging and short sided games (2 on 2, 3 on 3, etc).
Leagues & Tournaments
Our teams will play in various leagues and tournaments throughout the season. These include the Basketball Club Showcase Leagues in Utah County and Great Western Classic Tournaments. Tourney/Leagues will cost in the $60-$80 range, depending on the number of games each team plays. Leagues & Tournament games will be played on Fridays & Saturdays.
Uniforms
Each player will be outfitted in a ProLook sublimated, reversible uniform. The one-time cost is $99. We will also have a team store starting Fall 2025 for players and families to be outfitted in the newest City gear.
